GafferTips — insider football predictions & affiliate platform

Purpose

GafferTips is a football insider predictions and betting-affiliate platform for the UK and Ireland. Fans register, declare which clubs they have insider knowledge on, and post predictions with reasoning. Those informed opinions are collated for other fans, with affiliate links to betting partners.

The challenge

Deliver a two-sided platform — web and mobile — that pulls in live fixture and results data, handles high-volume fan-generated content, monetises via affiliate integrations, and scales cleanly for match-day traffic spikes.
